| Sciatic Nerve Pain Cure |
Question:
I am looking for treatments for sciatic nerve pain which presents it self
through out legs. I am interested in any form of treatment. Any advice would
be greatly .
Answer:
I pretty much had all the problems you had (have) and in order to help
or relieve sciatic pain due to nerve impingement, foremenotomies were done
to open the passage ways for the nerves. Scare tissue can be a big problem.
An MRI would help your doctor find out what exactly needs to be done. When
I had my fusion surgery, they did all the otomies there were and it did help
with the nerve pain that radiated down my legs and feet. If it was my back
I would have as many diagnostic tests done as possible before any invasive
treatment was allowed.
Nothing helped me til I went to this healing lady who does massage as
well as tons of other stuff. Whatever it was she did it worked. It took 5 or
six visits with it getting a bit better with each one. The last one took the
pain away altogether and other than a warning twinge now and then it's never
come back and it's been over a year. My doctor called it "sudden and severe
sciatica" on my record. What she calls what she does is "integrated body
therapy" and she does other things with names like lymphatic drainage
therapy, craniosacral therapy (she can make the man's violent migraines go
away when she does this to him, they don't stay away but at least he gets
temporary relief), reflexology. Maybe you could do a net search and see if
there's someone affordable who does it near you. I know it sounds like
voodoo but it worked for me.
Looks like you have given yourself every opportunity to heal the problem on
your own without invasive treatments. A friend of mine did the same thing. He went twelve
years trying to deal with a bad disc and finally opted for the laminectomy and
was not disappointed. The results were pretty immediate, a little nerve pain
lingered, but took time to heal once the irritation was resolved.
