| Tinnitus and Neck Pain - Treatment? |
|
Question:
From what I've read on this group and the tinnitus home pages, there
seem to be lots of causes for it, including muscle stiffness and neck
pain. I've been seeing a chiropractor for a couple of years now, and
I've been wondering if there's any connection.
I realized I had
tinnitus back in October of last year, and since then it's fluctuated a
lot; there's always something there, but how loud it is, what ear it's
in, what frequency it's at, all that changes from day to day. It seems
to be connected to how bad my neck and back pain are, but I'm not sure
in what way.
I've also heard that cranio-sacral therapy can help. Anyone out there
tried this and had it work?
Answer:
I have Cranio-Sacral. It helps relaxing me. Especially for
all tensions in the body, be it muscle or organ-wise. Go ahead with it. My
therapy takes 90 minutes, esoteric, relaxing music in the background,
special aromatherapy oils burning.
Regarding hearing loss, mhm, I guess with our without T you can have a
hearing loss or can become completely sensitive regarding any noise or
hear completely normal. T is a wildcard.
