| Chronic back pain...what worked for me |
|
Question:
I just wanted to share something for anyone experiencing chronic low
back pain. I had made a connection between the sloping in my bed with
the daily pain I was experiencing. But what's unbelieveable is the
truly SMALL amount of slope required to throw the back out. Tiny
little bowings in the middle of the bed are enough to do it.
I
inserted books and other objects in between the mattress and boxspring
to even out any troughs. ALL back pain disappeared.
Answer:
I've known of people putting a piece of plywood between the boxspring and
mattress, but never heard of books.
Carpet remnants and yard size corrugated plastic campaign signs will
also restore some firmness. On mattresses that have a severe
depression, adding folded towel layers or even an old pillow may be
required to counteract the crater. Consider a latex mattress
replacement.
