Question:
I have a chronic maxillary sinus infection. What causes this? A cat scan confirmed this. Could a sinus infection cause neck pain?
and could lyme disease cause sinusitis?
Answer:
I have noticed neck pain in conjunction with sinus problems. One day my
head & neck hurt so bad, I just wanted to scream. The pain had lasted for
days, with no relief. Even thought my nose wasn't extremely stopped up, I
used some Afrin. Within minutes, the head and neck pain were gone. I'm not
sure how it worked, but it did.
