Back Pain Medication
Question:
My back pain test was driving 700+ miles this week for work - driving a Neon with no cruise control. I used a lidocaine patch on my lower back on the way and no patches on the way home. I'm on Flexeril 10 mg daily and Lexparo 10 mg daily (among my BP meds, thyroid meds, calcium and calcitriol).

I have very little low back pain - just some aching and stiffness when getting out of the car (I stopped every hour or so), very little shoulder pain and no upper back pain. So I think my particular cocktail is working.

Without the chronic pain I am a different person. I was depressed, tired, irritable without the Flexeril (I've been on the Lexapro for over a year).

Answer:

I have stopped driving all to gether since the drugs frighten me so much. Gratefully I am not working any more. I have recently taken my self off a lot of pain medicine. I had a scare with an accidental type overdose So I decided I can't take a chance anymore. I don't want any accidents. My docs have me on Methadone, Ketamine, Luvox, and recently Wellbutron, Lorazapan. I am sure there are a few i have not mentioned. Everytime I go in depressed they write me another prescription.

Has the Ketamine helped you at all? How do you take it? I've been looking for a decent pain solution, methadone is probably what we will try next as not much has been giving me relief and when it does it doesn't last for long.
