Back Pain? |

Question:
what has helped most with lower back pain?
I've had more persistent lower back pain and abdominal/bladder pain in
the past two weeks.
I suspect this is just the CPPS being imperialistic by nature.
However, I have been sitting on towels (along my legs) to elevate the
perineal region. Is it possible this sitting style (which has no
support directly under the base of the spine) is causing my problems?
I just received one of those cushion pillows which *does* support the
lower spine but is not as comfortable in the perineal area as the
2-towel method.
I'm currently on Q (started 1 week ago), Selenium, Zinc P, Dry E, Ca.
Cit, and light Vit.C. BT did not help, in fact, my bladder/lower ab.
pain started after 3 days of it.
I take Ibuprofen every other day or so as needed - not sure how much
is really safe? Some previous posters seemed to have taken really
high doses of this stuff.
Answer:
my back and hip are wrecked, and I have
found that sitting on makeshift donut cushions, like the one you
describe, to be murder on my back. I find the donut cushions more than adequate. I have one for
home, car and office. I was miserable for 7
months with my symptoms seemingly only getting worse. I am happy to
say that these days, most days anyway, I am much better. Not normal,
but better - and certainly not miserable.
I took Daypro for 4 months straight. It did nothing but wreck my
stomach. Celebrex did nothing as well. I stopped all prescription
and nonprescription anti-inflammatories and took nothing but
quercetin.
